Saving The Black-Footed Ferret in Colorado

Show Details

Once thought to be extinct, the black-footed ferret remains one of the most endangered mammals in North America. Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW), in collaboration with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and other partners, is working to reintroduce the black-footed ferret to eastern Colorado to help restore wild populations. This video provides an overview of CPW's Black-Footed Ferret Recovery Program and offers an intimate look at these rare (and rarely seen) animals. Video produced by Jerry Neal/CPW Additional footage provided by the USFWS and the Sand Diego Zoo Alliance
